The 127th Psalm
| 1. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. | 1. It's not by idiotic luck when he that hath been motivated by the divine hath put up that excellent art here, a deluxe public work. |
| 2. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep. | 2. Happy is he who felt the Lord in austerity. Is to fret over a lot of obsessive repetitious labour ever as good? |
| 3. Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. | 3. Ah, her nursing toddlers! Oh, what a terrific breath of renewed life I am to hold. |
| 4. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. | 4. He who hath a tiny son dreams of armour and grace: he's to fly in the air. |
| 5. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. | 5. He that has many kids feels potent, huge; Thine hateful rivals? He hath an ablility to whip them; he equals them, passeth them by. |
