The 123rd Psalm
| 1. Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens | 1. Thus we muse: "Ah! to see the divine tenant up in the elite holy loft." |
| 2. Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us. | 2. See, as the son that needs to seek out these solutions from his father, or these daughers that found some hope in a mom's advice, thus in turn do we all pray by day unto our honored Heavenly father. |
| 3. Have mercy upon us, O LORD, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt. | 3. Cruel menacing of evil men did vex us. We wept, and pray for thy holy help. Come to our rescue! |
| 4. Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud. | 4. So, the filthy rich discount all of us who hope to get a reward up in that next life. See, O men, that God intercedes! |
