The 98th Psalm

1. (A Psalm.) O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory. 1. O highlight a hymn, "Hunt My Foes", to God on high that runs things, to recall all his hands have done to hammer the invader's troops in war.
2. The LORD hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen. 2. Ah, God hath shown his redeeming power, eh? He that hid telleth of his holiness unto nasty heathenish knaves.
3. He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. 3. He hath thought to revere his favored nation. Hear, world; they shared amid households all the beneficent measures of the master.
4. Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. 4. Sad? Shake on tongue noise idea; ah, join me in an elated uproar, else do a jolly mirthful racket.
5. Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm. 5. We pipe anthems to the Lord, the Lord; it has worth, having a faith punch.
6. With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King. 6. Thrum with a duet of jollier buoyant resonance; keep them in front of God's desk.
7. Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. 7. That water noise howled. The trend? all flesh of the earth earnestly thundered.
8. Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together 8. Let God reflect: O hill, jollity aboundeth; the freshet splasheth.
9. Before the LORD; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity. 9. In front of God, he who emerged to supply equal justice to the world herd, though he sheltereth the rehabilitated Jews, eh?
