The 70th Psalm

1. Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O Lord. 1. Look, I am a good mate; the Lord keepeth me, the Lord saves me.
2. Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt. 2. Put all men that wanted my demise under my feet. No, do thus: break the backs of that slanderous bunch that once tried to defraud me.
3. Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha. 3. Oh, that bad hate remark, that bad sheer amorality. We suffer an ache!
4. Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified. 4. All ye that tend to feel joy in heavenly ideals, best give out a shout, and sing a chant so, the like angels, Let the Lord be acclaimed.
5. But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying. 5. Look up, man! God met my human need. Ah, thou Lord, art my redeemer; Please don't be too tardy in arriving, okay?
