The 53rd Psalm
| 1. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good. | 1. If a moron doth deny the Lord's reality: "No reason to it.", he hath quite a big surprise on high, in Heaven! Notice, he hated death. Too bad! |
| 2. God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. | 2. Our Lord then eyed the deeds of mankind to see what percentage were kind, good, fond of Him, hated sin, and loved truth. |
| 3. Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. | 3. O! thy enemies, each too eager to be engaged in rotten sin. Oh, they often behave not, for lo, they mock the Lord. |
| 4. Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God. | 4. "Hey, King of heaven!", I wept, "Go take thee down evildoers who raped our happy land." "You can quote me, they'll be toast!" |
| 5. There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them. | 5. Fright hath beset the heathen; anguish hath beset them too: camped against thee, the rogues who did scoff at thee were soon meat; unprepared for the war massacre, they met death. |
| 6. Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad. | 6. O all just and believing zealots feel joy if that chosen race abolish all big rich wicked opponents. O hope's what I, the Lord, give to the race of Abraham. |
