The 47th Psalm
| 1. O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph. | 1. I cue you persons who love the Lord: get loud! O lift up a happy chant to Him. |
| 2. For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth. | 2. The realm of God? Brother it's right here! His trait? He governs all alike. |
| 3. He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet. | 3. Indeed, the foul usurper shall be shut up and undone: No estate here! |
| 4. He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah. | 4. Oh Lord enhance, oh cherish Isaac's chosen! Oh thou joyful twelve! All excel before me. |
| 5. God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet. | 5. Out with doom! Hear thou God's truth, with pipes of angels tuned. |
| 6. Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises. | 6. Seeing a pianist, ask: "Get us proper songs, God's airs rising, inspiring us so." |
| 7. For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding. | 7. High tunes and intelligent Father-adoring prose as His "key words" gift. |
| 8. God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness. | 8. Oh note: the Lord hateth sin! Oh oh! He is getting tough on the perverse fiends. |
| 9. The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted. | 9. Father of Isaac begotten of Terah of Ur; O! he opened the age; extremely bold, Israel grappled the angel; the good prophet governeth thee. |
