The 24th Psalm
1. The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. 1. He that founded the lands, the stars, shall throw down Hell. There, He freed it: eternity! 2. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. 2. Ah! is not the Lord's fulness about faith, a hope of dust on the hidden deep. 3. Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? 3. Lord, who hath clean, holy hands, He won't hoist soil. Lo, dirt's cheap; falls in Hell. 4. He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. 4. Who, when unhurt, hath ascended unto the hill of the Lord, up unto a holy thin air place? A very standfast saint. 5. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. 5. This generations members, His overt heroes, shall savor full on the hidden light of God's face. 6. This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah. 6. A choice blessing that maketh thy feet the more safe? He has it! That is no joke! 7. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. 7. An angry ode: Is God mighty in battle? Happily, yes! A vengeful Lord's eye seeth all crooks off to due ruin. 8. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. 8. My holy God reigns! All this hating world rotteth on the brink; my God fights it. 9. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. 9. A happy ode: the Lord of hosts rules! Look, a loving eye guides faithful men. Tittering angels envy mercy. 10. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah. 10. So, is God thy worthy hero? Ah sirs, He's going to kill off the kings of Hell!
