The 8th Psalm

1. O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. 1. He ruleth over all existence, he who hath not any rival! so the world, the moon, the stars gladly obey.
2. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. 2. Thou hast taken our children and thou hast given gifts unto them to defend us; by heroic statement those mightiest, huge, mean foes shall be beaten.
3. When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;  3. Check out what God's word hath hewn so far, shiny in the ether. The reason: his very deft hands in motion.
4. What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?  4. O, that man's with hurt this moment; thus I've had that most fond human affiliation.
5. For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. 5. Thy thrill? A man and woman! The highest creation thou hast formed in the whole world: a grand soul!
6. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:  6. This human son stood with haughty demeanor; he thrived, his mouth full of that red venison top steak.
7. All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; 7. He easily expands a fold on the land, eats the beef.
8. The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. 8. He hunteth feathered feasts, he hath angled off of rivers; Oh wow! is that hash? Pass the potatoes!
9. O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! 9. And a world chorus extolleth only their eternal Elohim.
