Daleth
| 1. My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word. | 1. Quite downcast? Stuck in the mud? Go early to church, to devout holy men. |
| 2. I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes. | 2. I must hear thy words as they educate, save, and let me cheat my death. |
| 3. Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works. | 3. My task, to perform when awakened unto truth, is: spread thy holy code's laws to folks. |
| 4. My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word. | 4. A monster load of sin crusheth us: worthy Lord, give me thy huge contentment. |
| 5. Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously. | 5. My fraud alarm lightens my way: O go not where evil, crafty men go. |
| 6. I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me. | 6. Death? Be merry! I just have such delight, I'm on the way off to heaven. |
| 7. I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame. | 7. Stop! Seek thy truths, as devout men come not to humiliation. |
| 8. I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart. | 8. When the human family's lost, we can't return home. Lord light thy way. Amen. |
