| 1. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. | 1. Ah, how can a sweet male child not go wretchedly astray? by knowing his true and holy heritage. |
| 2. With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. | 2. Might those men and women that love the ways of my Lord come here with truth. Amen. |
| 3. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. | 3. The divine writing: he that may hear that, has it gone into his mind? |
| 4. Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes. | 4. Select my road, that's to heed absolute truths. |
| 5. With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth. | 5. I oft delight much in thy just law. Death? My Lord, help save me. |
| 6. I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches. | 6. I'm holy if I enjoy heaven's truth as a child whose taste is in ice cream. |
| 7. I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways. | 7. Happy campers went in thy way, Lord; I elect the divine statutes; |
| 8. I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word. | 8. Lo, ye'll win, if settled in God's mighty writ, still the way of truth. |
